Not a clue, because you don't give us much information to go on.
Is your TV plugged in to the wall socket? If so, has it worked being plugged in to that outlet before?
How are you trying to turn your TV on? With a remote, and if so, which one? You might need to use the TV's remote to turn it on initially and then use your cable box remote after that.
Is your TV coming on but you have no picture or sound?
