Tv Go channels still limited

For a few days now, I have not been able to access all of the TV Go channels when I stream away from my home WiFi. I have followed other threads in the Forum and a number of people are having the same problem…

Not sure what they are doing. I got sport package when you could get sports channels on Togo when away from the house. Now I can’t get those channels, very aggravating. One of the reasons I upgraded was to be able to continue watching a football game when I had to go somewhere. This doesn’t help any of us sports fans.

Hi, @user_0306c6! Thank you for participating in our community forums. What device are you using to stream on the Xfinity Stream app?

@XfinityBiancaB iPad and iPhone. It happened suddenly last week, I had not updated the app that day to cause any change. If I filter all channels by “available out of home”, it is a very short list. Channels that should be available are now defined as “in home” if I select them. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it each day in hopes of a fix.

Initially, I had the same issue if I streamed through your website, but that has been corrected, although not a great solution because there are replay issues and the show is constantly interrupted.

This away-from-home streaming is a major part of my Xfinity use, and I am very disappointed.

I have the same problem.  I cant watch CNN, MSNBC, etc anymore on my iPad or iPhone when away from home .  It says I have to connected to my in home wifi.  I have called and talked to service rep who said it would take an hour to fix.  Got a message to try it again and it still doesn’t work.

I have deleted app, shut down my iPad, reinstalled app, multiple times, etc etc.  I have tried on older iPads.

Still not working!

Agree.  Same here.

I talked with a “technician”  early this morning. She bumped it up and said it would take an hour for a response. I got a text an hour later that said they did something and to try it again.  Text y if it worked and yes and n if it didn’t.  It did not fix it and I text N.  Text could not be delivered!

This lack of service is maddening!  Whats to be done?  Go into a xfinity store?

I *think* it is fixed. Crossing fingers. I’m not sure what was included in TV Go, but definitely cable news and sports look to be available on the app 👍🏻

That's great to hear! As you previously noted, you're not alone in experiencing this. If anything pops up again, please do not hesitate to reach out. Is there anything else I can assist you with right now?

I no longer work for Comcast.

I, too, am experiencing strange exclusions with TV Go. However it only affects one of my Firesticks. I am unable to view 2 of my local stations, 6 ABC and 10 NBC while they are present on my other (older) FireTV cube and my Verizon cell phone. This is a brand new Firestick since I could not get Stream to load at all on my FireTV Dongle. I get a message about licensing (like the ones for MeTV and StartTV). This may also be happening with UpTV (have not tried lately) on my FireTV devices though I can get it on my phone. I think all FireTV are on the same app version 6.20.xxxx but will recheck later.
