TV Channels Not Included Compared to "Lineup"

If I navigate to: https://www.xfinity.com/support/local-channel-lineup whilst signed in, I see a huge list of channels, including all the channels I asked for when I set up my package with the agent before the technician came to install my new service at my new address. I told that agent I wanted a certain package which included a few niche channels my partner watches. The agent who set this up assured me that we'd receive those channels, and MORE channels, if we signed up for NowTV streaming. I told her I didn't want or need NowTV because the things she was describing as benefits were not something I cared about. She insisted it was a better deal because I'd get all the channels I wanted, and more. I said, as long as I get the channels I am telling you I want (mid-tier package for my area), you can add on whatever else, as long as the price isn't going to go up. She told me the price would be X $/mo. I said that sounds fine then, and you are telling me I will still get these channels I'm asking for? She said yes, 100%. 


Well guess what? The technician came, he installed everything, and we do NOT have those channels I asked for. 

When I go to the link for my channel line-up, it says I should have those channels that I asked for, and more. If I go to my package information on my bill/contract, it says I have "NowTV" (only). When calling customer support (outside USA) or attempt to use the chat (which constantly refreshes and dies inside the browser due to me doing absolutely nothing at all!), the agents are confused by what I am saying, and they just tell me I have NowTV and/or do not have the channels I am talking about. They don't understand that I : 

A. asked for and was told I would get more channels
B. have my channel line-up showing that I should be getting these channels

Questions: Is the channel line-up page showing me accurate information about what I SHOULD be getting and am paying for? 
Is there any relevancy to what the person in the chat told me I would be getting for the price I would be paying monthly, since that is what I told them I wanted, and am now not receiving? 
Since I am within my 30 day guarantee window to cancel, can I just cancel this NowTV product and get the actual product I wanted, if I am NOT able to get the channels I asked for?

I'm getting frustrated by how much time this is taking to try to resolve, since it's been weeks now of trying to get the channels to work on our devices, and spending time trying to call and talk with customer service over the phone as well.
