Trouble logging in to HBO Max

Why do I keep getting kicked out of logging in with the message that I am a secondary user?

I am the only user of this account. What am I doing wrong?

not meaning to be snarky, but want to make sure you are utilizing the correct app.

"HBOMax" was retired maybe 2 years ago and replaced with "Max"

are you talking about the Max app?
