The Weather Channel is displaying the wrong City

The Weather Channel used to display local weather for Danbury, CT but now shows New Haven, CT which is an hour away.

I like the weather channel for my local area too so I understand the inconvenience that this can cause. I am sorry to learn about this experience. We can help. Are you using an X1 set-top box or the XFINITY stream app to watch the weather channel?

We are using the set top box but the problem was resolved a few days ago. Thanks.

swellgal12, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. Are you not able to access The Weather Channel or are you not getting your local weather on that channel anymore? I know they used to do the local weather on the 8's.

Same problem here - The bottom of the screen on the weather channel is showing cities all over the country (LA, Houston, etc.) - completely useless.  Has this been updated overall or is this Xfinity specific?

Fixed it! We are using the streaming service so I rebooted the internet connection. Now showing the local forcasts.
