I’m having an issue with my TV subscription authentication through NBCUniversal.
I can watch live programming through the NBC Sports app on my iPhone using my Xfinity TV provider login. However, when I try to authenticate through the NBC Sports app on my Vizio TV, the NBC app, or NBCSports.com, I receive this message:
“This network is not included in your current Xfinity TV service.”
The issue occurs across multiple devices and platforms, despite my ability to watch through the iPhone app.
Can you please verify my TV package’s network entitlements and investigate why NBCUniversal is receiving an incorrect subscription authorization response? I do not want to upgrade my package if I already have the necessary channels.

Hi there, @user_cjuyqy! You are at the right place for help with using the MyTeams by NBC Sports app and the NBC Sports website. This link shows the available areas we offer access to that, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/tv-everywhere-csn. You should be able to log in with your Xfinity ID and password to access the content. We appreciate that you tried on different devices. With the error message you are seeing, I want to check on your TV plan to ensure things are good for access.
Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
8. Press Enter to send it.
