Stream Saver troubleshooting - trying to upgrade to no ads on Netflix - causing a nightmare for a week now

7 days ago: I decided to upgrade to no ads on Netflix - certain movies are not allowed to be viewed with the ads package.

2 days ago: all three of the Stream Saver package (Apple TV, Netflix, and Peacock) were deactivated.

I spent 6 hours via chat with 20+ agents trying to fix it. One agent told me to go ahead and create a new membership with Apple TV and Netflix (??!!). I kept saying no, this is wrong: there should be an activation link or button. I saw Peacock had a button, but nothing for Apple TV and Netflix.

They said do it. I did. Of course, I'm being double billed. They said will reimburse the cost. (This is really stupid).

Netflix still had the ads package. Instead of staying in the chat, I called the next day.

Yesterday: On the phone: I spoke to 3 different agents and Netflix. Netflix says Xfinity has declined to upgrade to the no ads package. It's Xfinity.

Every time I click the no ads on Netflix, it somehow creates a new button for me to activate Peacock on Xfinity. *face palm*

I was directed to someone in the tech department and that person could not create a ticket.

TODAY (DAY 3 OF THIS NIGHTMARISH TROUBLESHOOTING): I spoke with someone on the phone.  I tried to ask for a ticket. That person insisted on trying to fix it: I said NO. It's not a simple fix - it needs to be escalated to a tech person. Then that person could not create a ticket, told me their supervisor will call and create a ticket. I asked: how soon will someone help me? They had no idea.

I went on this forum and noticed how many people are struggling with these issues. This is not cool. Pretty frustrating. Being reimbursed for the inconvenience for $25 seems pretty small when this has consumed over 10 hours of my time.

Bottom line: I'm trying to relax, watching Netflix with no ads (nothing yet)(some movies are still unavailable due to this ads restriction and this is stressful.)

and being paid in "pennies" for this inconvenience is ... questionable.

Hello kbw238

We are sorry for any confusion. The Streamsaver bundle is only available with Netflix Standard with Ads. There is not an option to have the Streamsaver bundle with an ad free version of Netflix.
