Sports programs badly pixilated

Having constant issues with pixilated sports programs (ABC (WZVND), CBS(WINKD), FOX(WFXTD),ESPN, etc).  All the HD channels.   No issues with non sports programs normally.  Sometimes the problem is so bad that the games are unwatchable.  Problem is not consistent so I doubt that it's my equipment.  Is this a local broadcast issue or an Xfinity one?

Hello @bene393 We appreciate you reaching out about the reception trouble you are experiencing with cable Tv. I'd like to work on fixing this right away. This sounds like an isolated issue, so I'd like to troubleshoot this with you. Can you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

Why is there so much pixels and jamming on all sports presentation..especially ESPN!   The recent games on our cable is awful…can’t watch.  Ready to boot off cable completely.   No help in restarting unit.

I am sorry for the experience you are having while viewing the sports stations, this isn't the experience we want for you as a valued member of the Xfinity family. I would like to ask a few questions to see how we can help. Are you experiencing this issue on any other networks or only sports networks I also want to ask if is this occurring on live tv or if are you seeing this when viewing on-demand content?

I no longer work for Comcast.
