Sports Delay

Comcast does NOT have live sports all events are 45 seconds or more of delay. I've contacted customer service 4 times since October. They only give you the run around and no answer to why this happens now. Oh and raised prices AGAIN. Prices go up quality goes down.

Good evening @Hanratty,  and thank you for reaching out on our Community forums. We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing a sports delay. Is this happening during live TV or DVR recordings? May I also ask if you have restarted your cable box?

@XfinityAlyssaA it's your "LIVE" TV which isn't live. And yes I've been in contact with about 8-10 people from Comcast since October when I noticed it during the world series. A box reset doesn't work and no one can give me an answer to why tv isn't live and is behind.

Hi there @Hanratty. Thanks for reaching our team on Forums regarding the broadcast delay. I know the importance of seeing these games, especially during the playoff season. This happens to prevent mistakes or unacceptable content from being broadcasted. While this is super inconvenient, it is not uncommon to have delays. Each device may perform these functions differently.

As I have commented in other posts here, it is not limited to sports. I mentioned that, on New Year's Eve, CNN and Fox showed "live" clocks, and both were something like a minute behind.
