Sound cutting out on nbc channel 188 for several days now
Sound keeps dropping out on nbc channel 188 only. X1, cable (not streaming). Chicago. Rebooted tv box and X1 but no changes, still happening. See lots of complaints but no solutions.

Here in Philly, I've been having the same issue on channel 826 during Phillies playoff games. Sound only cuts out during live feed. Philly is the home of Comcast, so we're kind of use to bad service and the company saying it's not them, it's on our end. That's why they changed their name to Xfinity.

I have the same problem I have been going through it for a year I have one gig of service five TVs the 4K boxes I have nothing but pixelation freezing audio going in and out audio garbled my husband is a disabled veteran and Lowe's watching his TV I have stayed up throughout the night trying to record the problems and issues of the pixelation and distortion on the TV so I have proof finally they sent out two supervisors and manager and a young man that said there were nothing but errors in my neighborhood they fixed that the TVs and everything worked well for 3 days and now expect the same thing one gentleman from maintenance said it could be the amp in the house which I don't doubt that because their amps have issues just like their boxes have issues so he wanted to take a part of the amp all to see if it got better it got a little better but I still have freezing on MSNBC and ABC and garbling our audio which I believe is their signal and their 4K boxes I am sick and tired of paying this type of money for services that don't work correctly they build all these houses they overload hubs and notes and they go up on prices every time your contract is up and they do not improve their service I even had Comcast business at one time and it was no better it is so bad to wear I want to sell my house if these interest rates go down and move somewhere else I am seeing though it's happening everywhere to a lot of people and they know it and all they're doing is lying about it

The same thing has been happening to us with the sound cutting out. Reset the box etc. Called in about this issue two weeks ago and it seemed to be better for a while and now it's back to where it was. The sound for us is dropping out during the Seahawks game on Fox. Not sure what's going on but it's really annoying and I sure as heck don't want to call when friends and family are here watching the game.

I spoke with an Xfinity rep and this issue is on NBC's side. Rep assured me NBC is working on it, but it has been well over a week since this issue has been occurred. Very frustrating.

I resend the signal to the gateway internet box and then I unplug the main cable box (I have wireless boxes besides the main box that is hard wired) and the tv box that I am watching, wait a minute then plug them back in and the audio glitching problem is fixed….. for a day or two but ultimately the problem comes back.
