Some MLB games incorrectly blacked out

I live in ZIP code 49085, which, according to MLB, is in the Detroit Tigers market.  However, I am unable to watch nationally televised Chicago Cubs games on either ESPN or MLB Network.  Whenever a nationally televised Cubs game shows up on my Xfinity guide, the station instead airs alternate programming, but there is never any mention of the content being blacked out.  If I turn on a nationally televised Tigers game, though, Xfinity tells me the broadcast is blacked out and suggests a different channel.  I do not have any issues watching other teams' nationally televised games (outside of maybe the White Sox, but I'm not sure when I last was able to watch a nationally televised White Sox game) and all other programming on ESPN and MLB Network airs as my TV's guide shows.

When I check my IP location (using iplocation.net, for example), all of the locations that display are correct.  All of them correctly show up as southwest MI and none of them show they are in Chicago, which is what I was expecting the issue to be.

I never had this issue before when I had DirecTV at the same house, but this has been an issue ever since I switched to Xfinity.  So far, no one at Xfinity has been able to help me and both ESPN and MLB Network tell me that the issue lies with Xfinity.

I'm not sure what could be causing this issue, but any advice that anyone could provide would be huge.  And for the record, it's my wife who is the Cubs fan, so I'm really hoping I can get this sorted out for her!  :)
