SEC Network+

Why can I not access SECN+? I have been able to access it with my voice remote in the past by saying "SEC Network Plus" and a menu of games would pop up. I would simply select the game I was interested in and it would come on. Now when I do that and I select a live game I get a message that states it is not available in my region or a part of my package.

Been dealing with this for over 3 weeks now. Been told many things by multiple agents over the phone and in person at the local store. No one has yet to be able to correct this problem. Very frustrated.

You can also try going there with the following to see if you are receiving the same error message:

On the remote, enter in S-E-C (numbers 7-3-2) and the SEC Network should appear as an option near the top of the list.

  • Highlight the channel name in the search results and press OK.

You may also need to update your box as the SEC+ is not available on RNG150 TV Box.

Please send us a direct message with your full name and service address and we will be happy to check out your equipment and make sure you are able to access this if it is part of your current plan.

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3kajO4e
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
  •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
  •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

See https://comca.st/2XfS9FQ for an example.

@XfinityEva In my area 732 is the SEC Network Alternate channel not the SEC Network+. I may not have been clear in my post so the following is the problem I'm having: I can get to the SEC Network+ menu of live and upcoming games using my voice remote but when I select a live game I want to view I get a message that states something to the effect that it is not available in my region or my package. I have been able to view games on the SEC Network+ for a long time but started experiencing this problem Nov. 12, 2021 and had not changed my package. On the advice of an Xfinity agent I have changed out all my equipment so that should not be the problem.

This has been extremely frustrating.

Please help.

@user_1a5b2c, understood, thank you for clarifying your SECN+ issue that really helps a ton to make sure we're on the same page. I'm a huge sports fan, and the past few weeks have been big for your conference, so I can imagine that inconvenience is magnified. I promise I'll stick with you until we get to the bottom of this. Just to confirm, do you only get this error message on select games or all games?

Hi. I am having the exact  same issue . I have talked to XFINITY and ESPN with no help. I was even told it was because my TV was an LG ??? Have you received any help or had the issue resolved. Very frustrating that no one has an answer! ( I also posted about this issue and maybe if everyone posted something will be done!

@sstraus  I have not found anyone that has been able to help me. I was told my Xfinity equipment was old and needed replacing, which I did, and have had an Xfinity telephone agent tell me they would work on it. That was a month ago. Nothing yet. the latest is that XfinityMarcos (an official Xfinity employee) messaged me through this forum and said that he would stay with me until the problem is resolved. That was over two weeks ago. Still nothing.

@sstraus I understand that ESPN3 and SEC+ aren't available on Xfinity Stream on Roku and Samsung Smart TVs but I am not finding the information about the LG TV.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address, so we can look into this a bit more with you.

Thank you for re-reaching out to me, and I will be happy to dive into see what is happening. I can say that since SEC+ content is internet based, it will not show up on the X1 guide.

ESPN3 is available on Flex and X1 and it can be accessed through the ESPN app; however, SEC+ can only be accessed through the ESPN app.

Xfinity X1 TV Boxes and Stream (Web and App): We offer two of ESPN’s online streaming networks (ESPN3 and SEC+) on X1 and Stream, both of which are integrated into live and On Demand sports content and labeled with an “Internet” badge.

I no longer work for Comcast.
