Hi user_32cc00, thanks for reaching out, I know that is a really cool feature for X1, so I'm glad to hear you enjoy using it. To confirm, you're not seeing the "+" add button on screen when you select movie info? Are you able to navigate to your "My List" folder?
When I pull up a movie on my TV with the I information button. There is no plus option on the screen.
I can access My List of favorites that I selected in the past but I can't add new ones through the set top box.
If I pull up the same movie using the Xfinity app on my phone there is a + sign in the top right corner and I can add the movie to my list via the app.
Thank you so much! We have tested this on our demo boxes, it looks like the "+" availability depends on the title itself: "New Movies" will not have this option as they are readily accessible in that menu. However, "Free Movies" will have this option as what's featured can shift/change. Was the movie you were trying to save a newer title?
