Removing NFL Network?

You're removal of the NFL Network is the last straw. I have been loyal to your company for over 15 years and you want to pull this garbage? 

I'll be changing services.

Thanks for reaching out about NFL programming. The agreement to carry NFL Network expired, so it’s no longer available with Xfinity. This includes NFL RedZone and any related Xfinity Stream and On Demand programming.

 

Please know Comcast pays programmers to bring you the entertainment you love, and so far, Disney/ESPN has not proposed a deal that Comcast believes is fair for its customers. Comcast continues to work toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for its customers.

@XfinityAngie​ Who cares what you think is fair? We want access and it should be available, especially since it is part of a sports package that we pay a premium for anyway. Now we're paying for nothing. Are you going to adjust that cost since you no longer provide the service?

Not at this time. If a new agreement with Disney/ESPN, the owners of NFL Network and NFL RedZone, isn’t reached, the impact on current or future charges will be evaluated. Disney/ESPN, the owners of NFL Network, have not proposed a deal that Comcast believes is fair for its customers.

@XfinityJohnG​ wait, so i pay for a sports package SPECIFICALLY because it has the NFL Network and you're not going to discount that package? What kind of f***ingredients business do you think you're running? If save money by strictly streaming but I use your service for convenience. If it is no longer convenient, you are no longer needed. Enjoy poverty

There is absolutely no way I keep Xfinity if this affects the preseason games. And I also have been  with Xfinity over 15 years.

I have to agree. Xfinity's bait and switch on loyal customers will have a profound negative impact on Xfinity's bottom line. I'm calling them to cancel as soon as I type this.

And now, in their corporate cluelessness, they're flat-out lying about the NFL Network situation.  I told a live agent in a chat on May 15 that NFL Network wasn't working on the night of the schedule release. I got this response:

"On May 5, 2026, Comcast successfully renewed its agreement with Scripps to continue carrying its programming. All stations and related content have now been fully restored, including Xfinity Stream and On Demand services. Customers can once again access Scripps programming seamlessly across both Xfinity and Comcast Business platforms.

So now all the channels are working, including NFL as well."

Immediately turned on the TV, and of course NFL Network was still not working.
