Thanks for reaching out about the loss of Diamond Sports Group (DSG) programming @user_4ipm3h , which includes Bally Sports regional sports networks. This programming is currently unavailable as our agreement with DSG has expired. Comcast pays programmers to bring our customers the entertainment, information, and sports they want. We work to negotiate fair terms in order to ensure the greatest value for customers given all the ways content can be accessed today. We’ve been flexible with DSG, who is in bankruptcy proceedings, but have been unable to reach an agreement that’s fair for our customers. We know unexpected changes to your TV lineup can be frustrating, and we apologize for any inconvenience. For more information, visit www.xfinity.com/howitworks .
The loss of this channel will result in savings that we’ll pass along to you, and you’ll see an automatic credit in your bill in the coming weeks @user_4ipm3h.

@user_4ipm3h Bally sports covered 14 regions, and the regional sports fee may not be the same in each region, so credits may vary depending on where you live. We will proactively credit customers for the loss of their Bally Sports network content in the coming weeks. You can watch for the credit over your next few statements.

@user_4ipm3h at this time, I do not have a credit amount, as those final details are being worked behind the scenes. You should see it pop up on your bill within the next month.

I just received my bill as well and there is NO credit for the loss of Bally Sports Detroit. I expect Xfinity to not only credit me, but add interest since the time this channel has been removed from my service.
A few weeks ago, I called customer service and was told a credit would be on my next bill. I just got my new bill today and still no credit. I called customer service again today and was told it will take 2 billing cycles. I asked if the credit will be prorated effective May 1st and rep was unsure and rep was also unsure of the credit amount. Well, I lost Bally Sports station eff May 1, 2024 and there was no credit on my bill for service date of 4-23-2024 to 5-22-2024. Bill I received today is for service dates of 5-23-24 to 6-22-2024 and still no credit. I'm not going to hold my breath for a credit. I will believe it once I see it....
Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. Please accept my most sincere apology for the experience you have encountered. At this time, on service adjustments have been applied and will start taking place on May 28th. If you do not happen to see the next service bill with the credits, please do not hesitate to create your own Forums post.
The next bill should have a bill message that states "This bill includes an RSN fee credit for your local Bally Sports network(s) being unavailable.”
If you have a bulk account, service adjustments may not be applicable.

"Between May 28 and June 7, you’ll see a $10.40 Regional Sports Network (RSN) fee credit applied to your bill for the recent loss of Bally Sports from your channel lineup." ... which is inadequate, since I pay $12.25 per month for the RSN fee. There should also be a reduction in my Popular TV bill, since Bally Sports is part of that package. I think a fair monthly credit would be in the $20-$30 range, to account for the entire RSN fee and the loss of a key channel from my Popular TV subscription.
In addition, the credit IS NOT PROACTIVE as Xfinity had promised. We lost Bally Sports on May 1st, not May 28th. I already paid my bill for the prior month, and there was no credit for the service I had not received.
@user_4ipm3h, Thanks for your feedback. I will pass it along!

We are in a condo building with bulk pricing - how will that RSN credit flow through to the Association - as part of the individual's bill or through the association bulk billing?
Good evening @user_mp16rd, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums with your RSN credit concerns. That is a great question. It would depend on how the bulk agreement is set up and how you are billed. Do you typically see a Regional Sports Fee on your bill? Or, are your TV services bill directly through your association?

I was just told by our Bulk Account contact that Bulk accounts don't get a credit. Apparently your best customers just lose services and continue to pay the same price.
Hi there, @user_mp16rd! We value all of our customers, and appreciate you bearing with us through this situation. However, it is true that depending on your bulk agreement, you may not receive the credit if you are not charged separately for RSN (Regional Sports Network) fees.

@XfinityFrank This has been an issue for me too and I am frustrated with the response like other users here. I finally saw a $10.40 credit on my account the other day. Will this be applied every month moving forward until the dispute is resolved?
user_wnz5tv At this time, we do not have details on any further credits being issued. Please keep an eye out for communication on your billing statement.

@user_4ipm3h. We do not offer customers any credits for channels that have gone away because of contract negotiations.
