Peacock

I have activated my free Peacock subscription (Diamond Member). When use the Peacock app most of the shows are locked. It asks me to upgrade my subscription as well???

That's definitely frustrating, and I want to help you get this resolved. This is a known issue that can sometimes happen after you've activated the subscription through Xfinity. The app doesn't always recognize the new subscription right away, which causes most of the shows to appear locked.

 

A common fix is to try one of the following steps:

  1. Sign out and sign back in to the Peacock app: This is the simplest fix and often resolves the issue. Make sure you are using the same email address you used to activate the subscription through Xfinity Rewards.

  2. Clear the app's cache and data: Go into the settings of your device (phone, smart TV, etc.) and find the Peacock app. Clear the cache and data, and then try logging in again.

  3. Uninstall and reinstall the Peacock app: If the above steps don't work, completely uninstall the app from your device and then download and install it again.

If none of these steps work, it's possible that there was an issue linking your Xfinity account to your Peacock account. In this case, you may need to go back to the activation page on the Xfinity website to re-verify the link.
