Peacock Premium shows as activated, but isn't working

I am a Diamond member, and just activated my Peacock Premium reward today.  I received the activation email, followed the steps by providing my Xfinity log in info, then creating a Peacock account.  Everything looked good, but then when I went to try to watch some shows, everything is locked.  When I go into my Peacock account, it shows I'm not currently subscribed, and that I need to sign up for a $7.99 per month plan.  I tried going back through the activation process, and it says "your Peacock account is already active".  Any advice on how to actually get the free service?  Thank you!

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send your message
