Only ABC Freezes

My TV is hardwired with Cat 6 and I have 600MB service. ABC is the only channel that occasionally (at least twice during a half hour program) freezes. Anyone experience this? Is this a noted issue! Thanks

Hello, @user_ac37b4. Thank you for your post about the ABC station. It would make watching your programs a bit frustrating. That is not an issue I have run across or one that I see as a known issue. Are you using the Xfinity Stream app directly through your TV or are you using a device such as a Roku? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

Yes, directly through TV. Again, it’s the only channel that has freezing issues. Thanks for your response.

You're welcome! We are a 24/7 one-stop shop. :) A few troubleshooting steps that I would try (let me know if you have done them).

1. I would reset the modem and the network connection to the TV. Resetting the modem will update any files from our end to your home.

2. If that doesn't fix it I would uninstall the app and reinstall it.

3. If that doesn't fix it I would like you to send over a private message so I dig deeper into the cause and put in a ticket if we can't fix it.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
 • Click "Sign In" if necessary
 • Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon (upper right corner of this page)
 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
 • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 • Press Enter to send your message
