now tv wrong channel?

Last night I was chatting with an agent, and we were discussing my internet service, which was supposed to have unlimited data, but they apparently changed something a month ago. Anyway, they noticed that I had a basic Cable service and asked if I wanted to discontinue it. I watch very little live TV, but regularly watch the local PBS affiliate, and I told them that. We usually just stream everything else on our Roku. They suggested NOW TV and sent me a link to a list of stations, which included the station I wanted. They said it would work on a Roku, so I went ahead and stopped cable and ordered NOW TV.

Today, I tried to set it up. The Now TV app on Roku seemed to be in Spanish, and didn't have anything to do with Xfinity, as far as I could tell. I looked online, and that said I needed to use Xfinity Stream, which I downloaded and set up. It said I would find Now TV under Live TV. But that was just a list of streaming channels, not including the PBS one I wanted. (Apparently, there is a PBS Antiques Roadshow channel, which is not what I watch.) It doesn't say anything about NOW TV anywhere. I don't see the green NOW TV tile either. Should I???? There are a lot of channels there, but not the ones I wanted. Do I need to wait for the channel list to populate?

Looking back at the Xfinity website, the list of channels that I was sent was nowhere to be found, and the transcript of the chat doesn't include the link or the URL that he sent, just the text label.

Have I been sold a big nothing burger?

I tried to chat with an agent, but they were from sales and gave me a number to phone. I phoned that number and the AI that answered couldn't direct me to a human and finally cut me off. The Xfinity Assistant is completely useless - I mean really completely useless! Now I'm sorry I gave the agent a 10.

user_uyk0n0 Good afternoon! Thank you for reaching out to our Xfinity Forums Team. I can see that would be frustrating, not being able to wach your favorite shows. May I ask what network you are trying to access, or what channel it is that you are missing?

There is no ABC or CBS, but like 15 Fox channels - I don't watch Fox - and the channel I watch most is PBS. The list that was shared with me had those local affiliates - 3 PBS stations! There seems to be nothing local about NOW TV.

XfinityRichard doesn't come up in the list of names to DM with, so I can't send you a direct message.
