@user_g6zypi We - like you just realized we no longer have NHK. I've been active watcher of the channel for years. We have both immediate family and friends who live in Japan and we depend on it to keep abreast of news, developments, earthquakes, etc going on there. Additionally it's a beautifully put together channel and we appreciate the programming.
What happened to it. No notice. No announcements, No bill adjustments. It's once less channel we have now. But we'd prefer to get it back again.
@user_2u75mu I know dealing with sudden channel lineup changes can be frustrating. Most of the channels that we offer are owned by media companies other than Comcast, which means we need to pay those companies in order to bring their channels to our customers. We negotiate contracts with these media companies to obtain the rights to carry their channels, on-demand content, and streaming apps on our platforms. Comcast has successfully renegotiated thousands of expiring contracts over the years and rarely experienced an interruption of service. No channel is "Free" as we pay Xfinity for everything we view. Raising fees and deleting channels is not acceptable. Why dont you they get rid of one of the many tabloid news channels and fix the deal that gets NHK back?
@user_d8cbtv thanks for taking the time to post on our Xfinity Community Forums page. I know the loss of a channel like that can be hard to deal with. I can certainly submit feedback regarding the loss of the channel and your request to bring it back. According to the broadcaster website: "All New Jerseyans and Philadelphia area viewers can continue to livestream at njpbs.org/live/nhk-world." for now.

I've been receiving and ENJOYING NHK for 10 years at COMCAST XFINITY and even longer with a different company.
What HAPPENED TO IT? We love it. We miss it. We have friends and family in Japan and it is a link to them. Why did it go away?
Why so suddenly - no notice from Xfinity at all. That's one less channel we get - No FINANCIAL compensation either?
What's up you guys.
Not happy at all. We want NHK back again, please.
