NHK suddenly removed without notice on March 31 2026

Why did NHK  channel 265 in my market suddenly disappear from my lineup on March 31  2026.    No notice or warning     Watched it for years.     Removval. of another channel that didn’t  show commercials

I couldn't agree with you more. !    I am wondering when Comcast/Xfinity will explain  why it disappeared into thin air afer all these years.   I always read whatever they post/send us about what stations they will remove and this was never documented.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" If necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".

Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

Asked what happened to NHK at the Xfinity store.  The answer:  here is a new box to replace your old one,.  It appears that comcast employees dont know either.

Losing NHK will make me start investigating other providers. Losing NHK is a deal breaker.

Hello, @user_ag2n6r it looks like this channel is no longer available in your area, unfortunately. They have posted updates on their website : https://www.njpbs.org/blog-post/nhk-world-japan-channel-update/, which states: 

"All New Jerseyans and Philadelphia area viewers can continue to livestream at njpbs.org/live/nhk-world."

Welp, was looking for Xfinity, who has way less stations available than Verizon, to give me the push to switch to Verizon so I guess this is the final nail in their coffin for us.
