NFL Network and RedZone Blackout Credi
Dear Comcast Customer Service,
I am writing to formally request a credit to my account for the period I am unable to access the NFL Network and NFL RedZone channels, as the marquee pieces of the "Sports Entertainment Package” that made us keep your services. The current daily programming blackout creates an interruption and a breach of the terms of service of the package that we signed up for and continue being charged for while you are not fulfilling your agreement to provide access to these channels.
Please note Day 1 of the breach of services rendered in our lineup package started on the first day of the channel blackout began. I will expect a credit will be applied to my account to make our service agreement whole to correspond for every day NFL Network and RedZone channels remain off my channel line up regardless of how long your contract dispute lasts.
Thank you for your attends to this matter.

Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your credits for NFL Network and NFL Red Zone. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, and I would be more than happy to assist you today.
On Thursday, April 30, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), Comcast’s agreement to carry NFL Network and NFL RedZone expired. As a result, this programming is no longer available with Xfinity or Comcast Business, including any related programming on Xfinity Stream and On Demand.
Comcast pays programmers to bring customers the entertainment, information, and sports they want. Comcast works to negotiate fair terms to ensure the greatest value for customers given all the ways content can be accessed today. So far, Disney/ESPN has not proposed a deal that Comcast believes is fair for its customers. Comcast continues to work towards making this programming available again with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for customers.
Head to xfinity.com/howitworks for more information on how great content is delivered to Comcast’s customers. Will I get any kind of credit/discount, or will the cost of my bill decrease because of this?
Not at this time. If a new agreement with Disney/ESPN, the owners of NFL Network and NFL RedZone, isn’t reached, the impact on current or future charges will be evaluated.
