NBCSN

Okay, so NBC is moving sports from NBCSN to USA on January 1st.

The plan is to move sports off of NBC SPORTS NETWORK (currently located on Ch. 1207 in the middle of the sports channels)  to general entertainment property USA (Ch. 1403 - far away from the sports channels).

If the idea is to augment the fans of soccer, curling, rodeo and NASCAR with fans of Psych reruns, both demographics will likely be disappointed.

Moving it to a currently unwatched property such as MSNBC might work.  There, the few remaining viewers might crack a beer and sing a Kumbaya descant over the blaring country music at NASCAR events.

What will they be airing on NBC SPORTS NETWORK?

Knitting?

I'm just spitballing here.

Time to rethink my cable package again.

They won't be airing anything on NBC Sports Network. The whole point of moving things off of it is so Comcast can shut it down.

Comcast shuts down a channel, without replacing it with anything. My net cost per channel goes up, and my overall value goes down once again. So even though I have a price cap for wo years, in effect my cost still goes up. Nice.

Change can be a bit hard to handle sometimes. We appreciate your signing up to be a part of the Comcast family, and I want to be sure we can get everything figured out for you with your service. I would be happy to assist you with your channel line up. The link: https://comca.st/3mYyRP8 can be helpful in locating your channel lineup for your address. Have you looked at the programming you would like for your TV services if there were any changes you would like to make? If not the link: https://comca.st/3t0my91 can be helpful in deciding the cable package you would be most interested in.

Once you have chosen a package that would fit your needs please send me a Direct Message with your name and service address so that I can fully dive into this for you! I will leave you instructions on how to initiate the message with us! I look forward to working with you soon!
