Why can't I record MLB Extra Innings games

Same for me. First saw this issue the other night while trying to set up recording. Today I tried to watch a game on MLB Extra Innings and the same message with error code appeared.

Please try playing this program again. Still having trouble? You may need to choose another program.

Same here, free preview didn’t work at all today on any games.  Just three dots for a very long time, followed by error code, then automatically changing back to last viewable channel.  Bummer for opening day.

Hello, @user_bd69fd. Thank you for your post. We are aware that customers are having issues when attempting to record MLB Extra Innings content. I know the season is just getting underway, so the timing isn't the best. I understand the frustration this is causing for everyone in the thread. There may be an error code like XRE-06027 mentioned above, that could populate. I see others reporting different codes, but the issue is the same. I can confirm we have engaged this issue on our end and will continue to investigate until it's resolved. We appreciate your patience.

Still happening still getting the same error messages in recording the Yankees Orioles game.  Watching game live now.

XRE-06026

Tried to record the Orioles vs Yankees game today. After 2nd inning the footage forwarded to 4th inning and then quickly kicked me out. Have tried 5 times to resume the game and that's the error message I get.

Yesterday, the Yankees game only record for the first 60 minutes, even though I always record the entire game and can never only set the DVR to record the first 60 minutes.

Hello Xfinity-what is the problem and why are customers suffering as a result? 

Also, where is the MLB.TV free subscription? When I attempt to watch the game on MLB.TV, I am told I am not authorized and have to subscribe.

We are being kicked out of recorded games too.  What's the solution?  I've called Xfinity and they did not have a satisfactory answer to fix the problem.  How can I get help?????

and now the game that I recorded on the DVR has disappeared entirely. so that means I cannot watch the game that I recorded today. 4 games into the season and two games I lost entirely despite setting the recordings :(

Constant pausing after resetting. Error codes on out of market games. Not able to watch teams I follow. Never had these problems with DirecTv. Not happy with this purchase.

Once again today the Yankee game had a malfunction. After 60 minutes the game jumped from the bottom of 2nd to the bottom of 3rd inning. Prior to that the game would pause for a few seconds and then start up again. Each time it happened I thought I accidentally pressed pause on the remote.

Why are the telecasts malfunctioning after 60 minutes during the free preview?

Hello, @machado22 and our other forums posters. We would like to look further into this issue so it can be resolved. Only being able to view a portion of a game is not what we want to happen. I am not seeing MLB recording being a known issue. I do see a known issue with the Cloud DVR service if you press the record button in the moment as opposed to scheduling the recording. Local recordings are not affected but Cloud DVR recordings are. The recording may be listed incorrectly, freeze, have playback issues, not record fully, or be missing altogether so I want to see if that may be the cause. This was happening last year as well--games would jump several innings, some would just stop and be irretrievable, and when I tried to pick yup yesterday's (Monday, 4/5/21) Yankees game this morning as well as a late West Coast game I recorded as a test, the recordings weren't there at all.

This stuff caused me not to subscribe last year and I won't buy a subscription this year either unless this is sorted out.

How 'bout some answers Comcast???

Just happened again Yankees / Orioles third inning went dead right after Aaron Judge couldn’t catch the fly ball in the corner. Try the replay and fast forward died in the same place twice more; come on Comcast what’s going on?

today my Yankees vs Orioles game did not record at all. Came home and chose DVR and nothing was there. Totally absent. This is just puzzling and very disappointing.
