MLB channel

My MLB channel has been frozen on the same screen (Due to blackout rules........) for the last 6 days.  All of my other channels are fine.  Comcast just wants me to do the usual procedure of unplugging the power cable from the box and waiting 10 secs and plug it back in.  That doesn't work.  ALL of my other channels are fine.  Anybody else having this issue?

Based on my experience with MLB extra innings and blackouts,  it is a local "head end " problem

where someone forgot to "flip the switch" after the game was over.

Wouldn't that mean all other subscribers attached to that headend would have the same problem?

I would assume so.  But again, my experience was with the add on package of MLB extra innings, not a broadcast channel like MLB.  The Cubs and White Sox were blacked out in my area and occasionally the assigned channel they were on would continue to show the blackout message even when a non blacked game out was on that channel the next day.  You are going to have a difficult time getting that fixed thru normal means.  I would advise you to contact someone at the Comcast Home office in Philadelphia and they will set up a case and get it fixed for you.
