Mislabeled TV show

Circle country Ch 4045

according to the guide 12:00pm - 1pm

There's supposed to be Hee Haw.

Instead there Petticoat Junction and The Andy Griffin show.

Hello, @LukeS1973 sorry for the inconvenience what troubleshooting steps have you attempted so far to correct this issue? For example, have you used the tools within your X1 TV Box to refresh your account or reboot the equipment?

I have seen 'To Be Announced' before, but that wasn't the case here. The guide explicitly listed Hee Haw, yet the broadcast was different.

​This isn't the first time the data has been wrong. I actually have a saved DVR recording that was supposed to be the 80s show Matt Houston, but the recording captured an old black-and-white show called Colt .45 instead. My DVR did exactly what it was told to do based on your guide, but because the guide was wrong, the recording was useless.

​I’m reporting this so the programming team can tighten up the sync between the networks and the Xfinity guide. When the guide is wrong, the DVR features I pay for don't work as intended.

LukeS1973 Okay great, had you seen the TBA message that might indicate an issue with a refresh signal being needed, a synching concern or something else of that sort. Because that is not the case, then the issue is more than likely due to the network themselves changing the programming from what was originally intended.

It's a rarity, and I understand life isn't perfect, but it’s still frustrating regardless. We should still strive for accuracy. When the guide data is wrong, I’m just reporting this so it’s on the record—hopefully, the sync between the networks and the Xfinity guide can be improved so these discrepancies don't keep happening.
