Minnesota wild

As a 25 year user of Comcast’s, I am very upset that we do not have Minnesota Wild hockey.  Last year we had to upgrade to get access and pay an additional $20 per month for premium.  As premium users, we should have access.  We have about had it with the continual increases and negotiations that affect our ability to watch local sports.  We already pay a bundle.  Is it time to change.

get the contract negotiation done please!

Thank you so much for being a loyal customer with us for 25 years. We truly appreciate your long-term support, I completely understand your position on missing out on your favorite local sports. We hear you loud and clear about getting the contract finalized.

Yes, but there is still no solution.  We want an outcome not just to be appeased.  We appreciate knowing our inquiry was at least recorded and read.

We have definitely shared the feedback on those issues with the local teams from here. Those local games were previously available on various FanDuel Sports Network regional sports networks (RSNs). Earlier this year, Main Street Sports Group (Main Street), owner of FanDuel RSNs, shut down its RSN operations because many of their teams’ broadcast rights reverted to their respective team or league. Right now the local Wild games would be available only through an Amazon Prime subscription. The NHL has an agreement with Amazon Prime Video to carry these games for the 2026-2027 season.

Now that the Wild have successfully negotiated their contract with Direct TV, does that mean the Comcast contract is almost there as well?  Or does that mean we have to move to Direct TV to get access.  Come on Xfinity, get this taken care of so we can watch our home team who are on a roll!

Thanks

waysnore,
We hear you! We know how important it is to be able to watch your home team, especially when the Wild are on a roll. While negotiations continue, I’m seeing that Minnesota Wild games are available through NHL Center Ice on HD channel 3080. Select games may also have both home and away feeds available when channel space allows. In the meantime, we’d be happy to make this a little easier and go over the NHL Center Ice package options with you. Would you like us to take a look?

They are not available to locals to the Twin Cities.  We need access through Wild+.  We are still being charged for the RSN’s and no longer have access to Wild hockey in the State of Hockey.  Very frustrating and disappointing.  Especially, now that DirecTv is signed.
