mgmplus

I have Xfinity that comes with MGMPLUS. However about once a week MGMPLUS wants me to reactivate by going through "Update Provider". It's worked in the past but now when I get to the final step I keep getting a message saying "This page isn't working right now". How do I get MGMPlus back?

I access MGM Plus via ROKU TV and a ROKU box on my other set. It seems if I don't watch something on there for several days it pops up a message to go: MGMPlus.com/profile to update my provider. This is ridiculous but it usually works. This past time after picking Xfinity it gave me an error screen. I contacted MGM Plus support and am still waiting for their "solution". However, after three days of error I tried again last night and was able to reactivate and watch shows.

It sounds like there is an issue with the app via Roku. I would recommend waiting for them and see if they push out an update on to the app on the Roku.

They fixed the "This page isn't working right now" problem. However almost every time I access MGM Plus it gives me a 6-digit code on the TV screen and tells me to login at mgmplus.com/activate. It works but none of my other streaming services do this. MGM Plus is via my Xfinity account.

It sounds like the activation process for MGM Plus is a bit more cumbersome compared to other streaming services. This might be due to specific security measures or account verification processes that MGM Plus has in place.

Here are a few steps you can try to streamline the process:

  1. Check for Updates: Ensure that your MGM Plus app and your device's firmware are up to date. Sometimes, updates can resolve recurring issues.

  2. Persistent Login: Some streaming services offer a "stay logged in" option. Check if MGM Plus has this feature and enable it if available.

  3. Browser Cache: Clear your browser cache and cookies before logging in at mgmplus.com/activate. This can sometimes resolve issues with repeated login prompts.

  4. Contact Support: Reach out to MGM Plus customer support. They might be able to provide a more permanent solution or explain why this specific activation process is required.

  5. Device Settings: Check your device settings to ensure it’s not automatically logging you out or clearing session data.

I hope these steps help make your streaming experience smoother! If you need more detailed instructions or have other questions, feel free to ask. 😊
