Metv

Here in WV metv is missing to.

It was supposed to move from 195 to 1048 today .

195 is now start tv and 1048 says I need to upgrade my cable package to watch it and this is the standard channel not the plus.

Becoming a cord cutter is looking better all the time.

My MeTV is now on. Electronic Agent fixed it.

Just Refresh / Restart your box. We got our MeTV back! YAY!!!

I am also trying to follow the instructions to subscribe to 1048 but not able to using the web address and online. I have been on the phone all day and no answers. The old MeTV channel is now StarTV, but the guide still listing it as MeTV. On the guide, 1048 says what's is supposed to be on MeTV, but no able to get that channel. Agent says available, but can't tell me how to get it.

I will be happy to take a look at the packaging you currently have, but normally it is not the packaging that is the issue at this time.

After finally getting ME restored yesterday afternoon, today it is off again. I get a message saying " you dont have access to this channel"  Whats the problem now and when will you fix it?

@joi1​ same issue here. Refreshed yesterday and got the channel up. Now it's gone again. Of course you can only refresh once in a 24 hour time frame.

I get the same message.  Oddly, I can get MeTV+, which I did not have previously.   When I ask for MeTV with my remote, I am taken to the old MeTV channel, which is now StartTV.

Thank You for taking the time to post here on the Community Forum. On May 9, 2022, in some markets, WTTG-MeTV is being replaced by WTTG-Start TV in Standard definition format. Effected customers were notified of this change via a bill message included in the May 5 - June 4, 2022, bill cycle. Are you able to confirm whether this change is effecting your services? Thanks!

XRE-03137 error, and are aware and working on a fix for the guide mismatch error.

I received the same message.  Oddly, I can access MeTV +, which I did not have previously.  When I speak into the remote, I am taken to the old MeTV channel, which of course now has StartTV.  Let’s get access to MeTV please.

@user_a62e72​ Xfinity told me they added 2 new channels or were given 2 new channels during this moving of METV. We now get Decades and METV+

    I was told that I have access to 1048 for METV but it’s still not working. I’ve called 3 times and I’m confused as to how fast they added those 2 channels but they can’t get 1048 up and running !!!!  It’s been 4 days and they started advertising this change the 2nd week of April and THEY STILL DO NOT HAVE 1048 working yet 1192 has DECADES and 1193 has METV+
  How quickly they were able to add those yet here we sit staring at the black banner saying no access yet the title of the show playing is there.. I lost it May 9th.. on May 11th I got it back.. went to bed thinking thank goodness.. but boom on the afternoon of the 11th that stupid NO ACCESS is there !!!  Get it together XFINITY !!  I’m honestly tired of sitting through the automated system SCREAMING AGENT and the system still try’s to let a robot fix this… I’m gonna need a Xanax the size of my TV SCREEN before this is over— I mean correct me if I’m wrong 😑 but XFINITY and COMCAST are pretty much one in the sameyou can’t tell me between the two they can’t figure out the solution !!  I’ve been told “ oh wait till your nightly updates and then it will work” I say BULL HOCKEY XFINITY !!!   It’s annoying yet people are like it’s just a tv channel… well I have kept XFINITY cable FOR THIS CHANNEL AND FOR ANTENNA TV- NOW REWIND TV !!!  Paying 217.00$ a month because of insuring I get 2-4-7-9 and above mentioned!!  I’m starting to question a cable company who is so ill prepared when something new is done !!  Why are their technicians not trained for this and why weren’t they prepared considering they advertised the change during every commercial— so disappointed thinking my bill will CERTAINLY DISPLAY SOON and they will NOT HESITATE TO DISCONNECT me if I don’t pay on time.. no excuses allowed from the customer but we are at their mercy and must LISTEN TO EACH AGENT FEED OUR BRAIN WITH A DIFFERENT EXCUSE WITH EACH PHONE CALL … GET. IT. TOGETHER. XFINITY.   I SPEND A LOT OF MONEY as do others for a service that you SHOULD BE PREPARED to handle !!!!

Having the same issues with MeTV channel move. Comcast has not been helpful. They keep telling me to reset my box and that doesn't work. Did a refresh on Tuesday and had MeTV for about 24hours then it was gone again. I also can not access it via the streaming app or through a browser to watch online. Channel is completely gone for me now, not even showing as an option.  Before it was saying I needed a subscription, but starting Wednesday it just completely disappeared. So frustrated with this. The problem is obviously on the COMCAST SIDE but I keep getting told my box is the issue....unless my box controls my entire account Andis the only place my account information is stored for what channels I get, his is a load of buffalo chips.  Comcast techs just read their script and try to upsell me, they can't even help.

Yes, MeTV is still on Xfinity--it just moved to channel 1156--which you need to pay for a new subscription to watch. Just when you thought Xfinity couldn't treat their customers any worse, they keep coming up with new ways. They treat us like sh-t--and most will just take it. I am working on cutting the cord as I can do without 90% of their channels. I just can't do business with such an unethical and unprofessional company. Oh--I went to tell them about this--I am #259 in line to get to text with a real person!!!! Worst customer service on the planet!

Be patient. When a new channel is added, it can sometimes take a day or two for the permissions to be updated to all boxes. MeTV is a broadcast network, so should be included in all TV packages.
