Max no longer available to me
After having HBO for several years, mid month my access to it has vanished. I contacted Xfinity and was simply told that I "don't have it". My TV package which contained HBO is still billing at the same price to me. Did a plan change and I was not notified? Will my TV plan be costlier now if I add HBO?

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_ogy4iw. I would be happy to check on any issue or questions on the HBO Max service from here for you. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

This happened to me too. I had always had the streaming option. I was unable to get on and finally called xfinity. They told me that I changed it. Ummm no I did not… I ended up finding out that MAX pulled their contract from Xfinity for streaming and I could only subscribe to live tv. So I could watch it on the xfinity go ap or on live tv. I told xfinity they are unethical in changing what I pay for and how I can use it. The gentleman I spoke with said “we don’t control MAX just like we can’t control Netflix” . I get that I however can’t watch max on my tv at my cabin because I can’t stream it so I’m not paying for it. They told me to subscribe to MAX directly.
