‘Marie Antoinette’ PBS Closed Captions Missing

3-28-23

In my saved recording of season one, episode two of ‘Marie Antoinette’ on PBS, the closed captions are missing which makes viewing unacceptable as the accents are difficult to understand. This is odd given last week’s episode was fine.

There’s nothing wrong with my equipment because other shows are displaying closed captions correctly.

Please correct this issue.

Thanks.

The closed caption is part of the video as supplied to Comcast. If it's missing, it was probably missing when it was broadcast by your local PBS station.

PBS has a free app for many streaming devices (Roku, Firestick ,etc...) and phones/tablets. For FREE, you can get access to 3-4 weeks of recently aired shows. You can even get your local PBS station live stream for FREE. A PBS Passport of about $5/month gives you a full back catalog of episodes and shows.
