Local NBA team on DAZN network

Local team, (Indiana Pacers) signed a 5 year deal with DAZN network.  Will this be available as part of my X1 Premium plan as the Fanduel network was? Hope so, this a la carte streaming extras is making cable TV very unattractive any more. 35 year Diamond member.

SpPJ20, Hi there! Thank you for being a Diamond member for 35 years! We truly appreciate your loyalty and can absolutely understand your concern. With so many services moving toward separate streaming subscriptions, it's understandable to want clarity on how you'll be able to watch your local team moving forward. DAZN is not part of a traditional channel lineup; it is an over-the-top (OTT) subscription service that provides access to live and on-demand sporting events. To use DAZN, you must sign up and sign in to the app, which is available on compatible X1 TV Boxes or streaming TV Boxes with Xfinity Flex service. Therefore, it operates independently of standard cable channels. We definitely appreciate the feedback, though. We know access to local sports is important to many customers, and we'll make sure your concerns are shared. As additional information becomes available, it would typically be communicated through official Xfinity channels. We appreciate your many years with us and understand why you're hoping to avoid yet another separate streaming subscription. 💙

I too am a 36 yr Diamond member, who has Xfinity cable, internet, along with 5 phone lines on Xfinity mobile service. I don't watch many regular shows on cable, but I do watch sports channels which I was willing to sacrifice my high cable bill so that I could watch the NBA Network and NFL Network. Now, I can't watch my local NBA team, (Minnesota Timberwolves) on the NBA Network unless they're on my local television channels, or when they start broadcasting on TNT or TBS when the regular season starts. After all these years as a dedicated customer, I'm actually getting to the point where I may have to consider looking into other options. Personally, I think as a Diamond members with all 3 services, your cable/internet/phone bills should actually go down a percentage with each passing years as a dedicated customer.
