KTVU Fox 2 Guide Inaccurate

The Guide shows a show on Friday nights at 10:45 PM for 15 minutes called “Fox 2 Sports Weekend.” This does not match the reality of the programming; “The Ten O’Clock News on KTVU Fox 2” is an hour long broadcast every night. Making this more aggravating is that there is no option to record all episodes of this 15-minute anomaly program.

I suppose that I could look into extending the recording for the 10:00 News by 15 minutes past the time but then I’ll get the extra 15 minutes every day when the problem only exists on Fridays, but I guess that might be a workaround if the actual problem can’t be fixed.

Sounds like that is local programming. It is up to the station to submit the proper programming info to whatever guide data provider Comcast uses. Comcast only knows what that guide provider is giving them. You can check online guide like TVGuide.com (is their own guide data provider) and Zap2it.com (uses Gracenote guide data) and see what their information says.
