Just lost Marquee
We were able to watch Marquee up until yesterday when we tried and got the following message: "Marquee Sports network is no longer available in your area due to geographic boundaries set by Major League Baseball". So I went to MLBTV.com for blackout info and this is what I found out...
if you go to MLBtv.com>help center>blackout information>Which teams am I blacked out from?>click "here">type your zip code (49120)>submit.....DETROIT TIGERS!! NOT the Cubs! So what's up with THAT Xfinity....seems like you're trying to pass the blame to MLB when it was YOUR decision to take away Marquee! Yet you supply Marquee to Indianapolis, which is THREE hours from Chicago? We are ONE hour from Chicago, THREE hours from Detroit. Makes NO sense!

Market areas don't always mean physical distance from a city. There are all sorts of MLB politics and ownership at play, too.

No, it was MLB's decision. MLB decided that you live in the Detroit Tigers zone, but not the Chicago Cubs zone, so you can't watch Tigers games on MLBtv.com - because you are expected to watch them on Fox Sports Detroit. Since MLB thinks you don't live in the Cubs zone, you are not allowed to watch Cubs games on Marquee.
Question: do you get NBC Sports Chicago? If you do, do you get any White Sox games on it? If you don't get White Sox games, it's the same thing; the most likely reason Comcast doesn't remove that channel but does remove Marquee is, Marquee is strictly Cubs, while NBC Sports Chicago includes the Bulls and Blackhawks.
