I want to record my favorite baseball teams games on mlb extra innings on their channel not opponents channel
My favorite team is St Louis Cardinals on channel 3026. When I set my DVR to record all their games I want them recorded on their channel, 3026, and not on the opponents channel. Most of the time the games get recorded on the opponents channel and not my teams channel. I want to listen to my teams announcers not the opponents announcers. The record options does not give you the ability to specify to record on the favorites channel, the only option is HD or SD. So I have to go to channel 3026 for each game and manually make sure it is recording on that channel. There needs to be a better way or why even have MLB Extra Innings

I have the same problem with the Seattle Mariners. Too bad I'm not an Atlanta Braves fan

I spent an hour on the phone yesterday with xfinity and the person on the other end did not have a clue as to what I was saying, not to mention his English was so bad it was hard to understand. This has to be a big deal across the MLB subscribers but xfinity seems to not care. If they don’t get their stuff together I will not renew MLB extra innings

I saw a similar thread but don't know if it was resolved https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/channels-and-programming/mlb-extra-innings-series-recording/642b517b906b2274f777f185
