How to cancel Max basic with ads

Last month i subscribed to Max basic with ads and now I want to cancel it.  There does not appear to be a way to do that. the Max app on the x1 device says to cancel in the xfinity app and the xfinity app says to cancel in the x1 device.  I see others have received help with this here, please help me cancel Max basic with ads.

   Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

   The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

   Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
