How does Magnolia Network and Discovery Plus work?

I am confused. Is Discovery Plus an app or a series of stations? For example Magnolia Network on 204 indicates it is part of a package and I can subscribe. It is not clear if I would be subscribing to just that channel or Discovery Plus.

The DYI Network channel was renamed the Magnolia Network. The Discovery Plus app will have different and exclusive content. Most of the content on the Magnolia Network channel will be on the Discovery Plus app but only a portion of the content from the app will be shown on the channel.

This is a user-to-user forum. You need to contact Comcast for service changes. If you are talking about the linear channel, it is 1493. If it's not part of your service, you may need to upgrade.
