H&I

What happened to H&I on WYCI 712 in Sunapee NH? Any way to get it back or is is moved somewhere, 712 appears to have changed to MyTV?

Most likely they changed affiliations on that subchannel. Comcast just passes on what is aired.

(Vermont)  The last page of my bill states that on June 2, 2021 WYCI Heroes & Icons moves to channels 311 and 1181.  THOSE CHANNELS DO NOT EXIST! It also states that WYCI Decades moves to channels 312 and 1182.  You guessed it. Those do not exist either.  No. Do not tell me to refresh (again). That does nothing, and those channels are not in the line up when searching online either.  Poof. Just gone. Thanks for paying your bill though.

Are you on the X1 platform?  If not, that may be the reason why you're not seeing those channels.

I looked a those 4 channels on our X1 system. The guide shows the channels you mention,  but if you tune them in you get MeTV. I need to double check the streaming app, but I thought it had only 311 and 312 and I didn't think to see if it actually showed the H&I programming.

This sent me down the right path! It is available on 311, but I had to turn off the "auto tune to best quality" in the preferences to see it. Even though I was putting in 311 it was sending me to 1181 which is MeTV, not H&I.

Thanks DenW3 for the lead. We are on paperless auto pay so never would have seen this! (We only look at the bill when the price changes.)
