help with activating a service we recently purchased. Our usual ID and password doesn't work with the tv sign in

We bought Paramount+, received an email saying its was all set.  Tried to sign in with ID and password we use for all Xfinity services and it would not work after several and several attempts.  we looked up user id on our account and used the various ones listed as options after trying the usual email id several times.

Thanks for posting on our Xfinity Forums @guia, and I appreciate you moving the post @EG, to ensure it gets to the right place. While the purchase may have been made through Xfinity, Paramount+ is a third party app and would require its own username and password. If you made your purchase through your X1 or Xumo Stream box there would've been a prompt through the purchase process which would have you set up the email address and password for Paramount+. If you forgot the email address or password used through the purchase process reference our article: Paramount+ app on Xumo Stream Box from Xfinity, Flex, and X1 overview and FAQs, where you can find a link to the Paramount+ Help Center, under the Sign in to the Paramount+ app section.
