help with activating a service we recently purchased. Our usual ID and password doesn't work with the tv sign in

We bought Paramount+, received an email saying its was all set.  Tried to sign in with ID and password we use for all Xfinity services and it would not work after several and several attempts.  we looked up user id on our account and used the various ones listed as options after trying the usual email id several times.
