HBO max app won’t launch

When I select HBO Max, it doesn’t launch. Stays on the purple screen with HBO in the middle. I have already restarted the cable box.

Hello! Thank You for taking the time to reach out to Xfinity Support, here on the Community Forum.

Have you cleared cookies and local storage?

-On the Home screen of your Xfinity device, choose the Gear icon (upper-left corner) and then Privacy.

-Scroll down and select Clear Cookies and Local Storage Data.

-Choose OK.

-Go back to the Home screen and choose HBO Max.

-Reopen HBO Max, sign in, and try streaming again.
