Freezing Channels while watching cable TV

Over the past couple of weeks, I've noticed that certain stations freeze while watching cable tv. The two of note are ABC and CBS. ABC is the worst. It happens at various times of the day. The screen locks up for a minute or so then it unlocks and goes on as normal. There are no messages and nothing else was taking place - no channel changing etc. This happens on multiple TV's so it's not one in particular.

This happend "a while ago" and I got in touch with you guys. You all did something and it stopped for quite a while. Not sure what's going on but I could use some help. Just a note - watching TV now and ABC just froze for about 10 seconds.

Thank you for reaching out to our team. I will be happy to take a look at any issue with your TV service from here. Have you attempted to reset those boxes already?

Thank you for that information. We can certainly complete some additional troubleshooting from this end. I will just need some additional information.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
