Thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums @user_f1633a. Welcome to the community! I am sorry to hear you have been having trouble listening and seeing these channels over Music Choice. Our team would be happy to help. I absolutely love to listen to these channels over the Christmas season. To start, are you having trouble with any other channels freezing or blurry on the wireless box? Have you attempted some basic troubleshooting yet, including resetting the modem? Does this happen on all the cable boxes in your house?

Xfinity sent a tech out. Before he came I put Soundscapes on all my TV’s. It only froze on the wireless boxes (I have 2 of each). He suggested replacing one of the wireless with a wired box on one of my main TV’s. It did work. Not a total fix but the remaining  wireless box is in a location that I really don’t play music in so I am OK with the fix.

The tech felt although he could not confirm that it possibly is a modem/router issue, with dead areas in my home.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for letting us know that the technician came out and was able to help with one of your boxes! That's definitely progress!

From what you've described, I would agree that the wireless box may not be getting a strong enough WiFi signal from your modem, causing it to freeze. A WiFi booster, such as our xFI Pods, can help boost the signal to "dead zones" in your home. I have our 1st gen set in my home, and it makes a big difference for us! You can learn more about the xFI Pods at

https://comca.st/3rcgSrG.

You can also use similar devices that can be purchased at local retailers as well, but I love the mesh network ours provide, and the ability to move around the house without our devices having to find the new connection in a different area.

Please let us know if there's anything else we can help with, including if you decide to swap out your last wireless box, or more details on the xFI Pods! We're always happy to help. :) -Macey

You conveniently omitted the fact you need xfinity WiFi for the Xfi pods to work.  Get an extender instead.
