Espn 4k channel not working, says I need a subscription
I pay for all sports channels and 4k, have the 4k cable box. Have watched all year with no problem. Trying to watch Rose Bowl today on ESPN 4k channel it gives black screen saying this channel requires a subscription. Chat bot sent a signal to refresh box that did not correct issue. What's up with this?

I had the same issue. I immediately got Xfinity customer service on a live chat. Of course she was unable to resolve it. She said she escalated it to her manager. She also offered to connect me to backline support. By then the 2nd quarter was starting. I declined the offer of additional support and continued watching the game in 1080P.

It happened to me also. the Teck said the solution was to upgrade my subscription to the latest version. Because I'm
grand fathered in with my old subscription, I choose not to do it.
