E. W. Scripps cable network programming is currently unavailable as our agreement with E. W. Scripps has expired.
Please know we pay programmers to bring you the entertainment you love, and a number of reasonable offers have been made and they haven’t been accepted. Comcast is working toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for customers. Well, Comcash, the bill arrived. . . $30.30 charge for "Broadcast TV". No credit for three Scripps channels gone for 23 days of the billing period and no credit going forward for the rest of the billing period ending May 22.
28 DAYS since the pinky purple screen appear blaming Scripps. 28 days with what appear to be AI generated responses to the posts from subscribers paying for something we aren't getting. No apparent effort to resolve the issues and return the missing channels.
With the consolidation of various media into fewer companies, what happens when Comcash (the largest media conglomerate by revenue at $123.7 billion in 2024) can't reach an agreement with the Ellison family? Or the Murdoch family? Or the rest of the few buying up the media?
Can AI tell us how many have left Comcash since this began? Just have AI tell us this is permanent - no Scripps stations on Comcash, and we all can move on to another provider, buy antennae or whatever.

I am infuriated that we lost the local channel Fox 13 (KSTU) in Salt Lake City, UT. They have the best news in town, and your claim that it is "keeping costs down" seems disingenuous. BRING IT BACK NOW

The impasse with Scripps stations has lasted a ridiculously long time. Work it out! Or issue rebates for the 5 hours of programming I have been missing for weeks. If this continues much longer I will be leaving Comcast.

I can no longer watch my local ABC channel, WXYZ. There are other channels that are no longer available. There's never anything to watch except horror movies, crime, war, etc. I'm getting ready to cut the cord. $175 a month, for what?

Not only do you already charge a ridiculous amount but can’t keep Scripps contract without another price gouge! It’s amazing other carriers can keep things going!
