E. W. Scripps Programming Agreement Expired

E. W. Scripps cable network programming is currently unavailable as our agreement with E. W. Scripps has expired.

Please know we pay programmers to bring you the entertainment you love, and a number of reasonable offers have been made and they haven’t been accepted. Comcast is working toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for customers. I know unexpected changes to your TV lineup can be frustrating, and I apologize for any inconvenience.

Commenting from Murfreesboro, TN - So fix the problem. Pay them more money and pass the increase along to us, the consumers. Isn’t this what you NORMALLY do? And let me ask this, since you are paying them NOTHING now, why haven’t you lowered my bill (just making additional profit, huh?). Oh yes, in my case I am missing 1/2 of my normal programming because I watch CBS for news and much of their regular programming, so deduct MORE from my bill. Remember, I do have alternatives and I will not worry a bit about dropping ALL of the services I get from Comcast. It’s no problem.

I would appreciate a response.
