Some shows set up fine when I program them to record weekly. Some record every episode on any channel. Before I'm asked...yes I have them set up for New Episodes Only.

What do the descriptions look like? If there is no New/Repeat flag, and the description is generic, it will typically default to recording it as if it is new.
