DVR recording somebody else’s shows

For 3.5 years my DVR has been recording somebody else’s shows. I live alone and I’m the only one. It even shows me that there is a second box connected to my DVR when I select options for recording. I have gone through support chats many times and they have never been able to fix it. It is so frustrating as it is so expensive and it fills up my box.
