Dvr not recording live sports

I have a recording set for Golden State Warriors content. But the DVR only records the replay of the game, not the live showing. Why?

What channel are you trying to record the game on, and where do you live (general area - not too specific)? It could be a legal issue of some sort.

@ThatDonGuy brings up a good point and may be spot on. Some games are blacked out in certain markets at the discretion of the teams playing. Are you local to The San Francisco area?

App says recordings are set, but many aren’t. This is a recent problem as well as the app just not showing up.

Thank you for reaching out to our community forum so we can help with the Xfinity Sports app, @Larryhir! I love being able to record my favorite shows so I can watch them in my free time and I'd be frustrated if I was having these issues. How much storage do you have left in your DVR when you notice issues? Your DVR has a certain number of tuners, so if there are too many programs being recorded at once, the recording won't start. How many recordings were going at once?
