The workaround is to use equipment that you can download their app to. Maybe you should look to Disney Plus faq got equipment compatibility, as it has nothing to do with Comcast.
I subscribed to Disney Plus to watch Hamilton. My voice remote tells me it is not offered. Can this be true? Is Xfinity missig out on the TV event of the decade?
I read that Comcast (Xfinity) "does not support ABC Corporation" (the parent company of Disney / Disney+. They don't get along. So ridiculous. We've paid a ton of money to Comcast over the past 30 years.
I thought a workaround for watching Hamilton on Xfinity was an Amazon Prime Video subscription, which I have, and then access Disney+. l can access Disney+ that way....can see all kinds of Disney stuff......just not Hamilton. Why?

_______ Simply, content providers don’t provide as much content as in their own streaming services, it’s their right.
Disney is the parent company of ABC, not the other way around. Them getting along or not has no consequence on how much you pay. Not all companies have to work together.
Why did you sign up for a service without checking if you had access to it first? As noted, it is not available through X1. If you have a Smart TV, it might be available on that. Otherwise, you will need to use a 3rd party box like a Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, or Amazon Firestick.
I’m disappointed that Disney Plus is not made available to our family as part of our significant monthly investment in Xfinity.com. Why is this the case? I have read that it is about personal issues between C-suite and nothing to do with customer needs. Disappointing at all levels and a good reason to seek an alternative service.
There is no partnership between the two companies, you’ll have to find a different means to watch it. If you have Amazon Prime you can access it through the X1 app but from what I understand some content may not be available
There is none. Disney+ is a subscription streaming service. There is no 'channel' for Disney+ or app on X1. You must use a separate streaming device and pay Disney a subscription fee (also, no more 7-day free preview.)

Disney has not given the X1 box an App to use and nothing has been announced as in the works.
